Bandipora Police recovers stolen vehicles and goods worth Lakhs

Bandipora, 05 May. Following complaints of thefts in Hajin area, SSP Bandipora constituted special team under SDPO & SHO Hajin to nab the accused involved in such crimes.

Acting swiftly on a complaint, in which the complainant alleged that thieves stolen his four wheeler bearing registration No. JK05 /5608 from the premises of his shop in Hajin full of goods worth 10 to 15 lakhs. Similar complaint was lodged about missing motor cycle bearing registration No. JK05A/7178.

SIT raided several locations to nab the accused.During two separate raids ,stolen vehicle four wheeler was recovered from Ganderbal along with goods, motorcycle was recovered from Gund jahangir Hajin & 03 persons were arrested .

FIR No.15/2019 U/S 379 RPC & FIR No.16 /2019 U/S 379 RPC respectively has been registered in PS Hajin & investigation started to apprehended the other accused persons involved.

People of the area have appreciated the prompt action of Bandipora Police by recovering the stolen vehicles in such a short time.
